Guys, I have two options in hands at the same price, an iPad Pro 9.7 256GB and an iPad Pro 10.5 64GB. I know you will raise a few questions based on user's experience, but which one would you choose, considering your personal needs?

Exactly what KrisLord said. Also, some people, like me, actually notice the size difference between 9.7 and 10.5. Here’s a pic I took at Best Buy...

2017, iPad Pro. The space can be rectified with iCloud. The speed, refresh-rate, size, and other features make the 10.5” the better choice, (even with 1/4 the on-board storage.)
I have had my Mini 4 with 64GB for almost 2 years now and have never once come close to filling it up.

Kallum.

Since you asked what I would personally choose, well I would choose iPad Pro 9.7 because it has more local storage which for many of us cannot be replaced by iCloud, and it is the last iPad that gets free Microsoft Office, which is important to me. And to be honest I find the 10.5 too large to my liking. Heck even the 9.7 is a little too large but the mini is too small.

However do keep in mind iPad Pro 10.5 does have newer CPU, double the RAM, 120hz display, quite a bit larger screen but only slightly bigger foot print.

If one doesn't already have the 9.7" Pro, I would get the 10.5" Pro.

If one already has the 9.7" Pro, I don't see a good reason to get the 10.5 Pro (I would wait for the 2018 iPad Pro - if there is one).

That's a nice size comparison pic!

Having used both, I personally don't experience a difference in screen size - I use both of them without noticing a difference.

If you will have many files to store on iPad, go for the iPad Pro 9.7 256GB, or else go for the 10.5.

Go for the Pro. 256GB looks good on paper but won't have any real world benefit unless you fill it up. With the prevalence of content living in the cloud e.g iCloud, Google Photos, Spotify and Netflix, the need gigabytes and gigabytes of storageis diminishing.

Go with the 10.5 Pro it's the perfect size. Once you've used it, you'll never want to use a 9.7 iPad again.

I have to agree here. I played with a 9.7" at my local Target Store. While I liked the size, I preferred the smaller bezels on the 10.5" Pro. Went that route and have been happy ever since! It's such a great size.

I decided to go for the 10.5 on ebay. Seller had it refurbished for only $430. Can't beat that in my opinion. It will replace my Pro 9.7.

Personally, Pro 9.7 256GB.

Mind, that's coming from someone with 75GB free space on a Pro 512GB and struggles to juggle content on 128GB iPads.

Here you go:

The process is seem less. Create an account with Staples. Then call them over the phone and they’ll set you straight. Tell them you want a price match with Microcenter.

I tried to buy from Staples in store but apparently they don’t carry the 10.5” IPP in stores.

I tried price matching the 10.5 256GB and was turned down because the sale at Micro Center was a "special event." Anyway around this problem?

Same thing happened to me when I asked Staples about it which is why I am glad I came across the ebay option for $430.

Whenever I have tried to price match with a store, I always feel like I get an explanation on why they can't do it.

I got a decent deal on Amazon. $717.99 and no tax. iPad Pro 10.5 256GB. I can live with that.
