Still on the 5.. I've never found the "S" versions compelling enough to pony up the extra cash. Going on AT&T's NEXT for this phone, though.. so new iPhone every year! :)

Now you'll end up paying $650 a year for iPhones instead of $199 every 2 years - carriers are clever, aren't they!

But my monthly service will go down ~ $25/mo. That's $600 per 2 year contract in addition to the $199 up front. So ~ $400/year for the phone.

With NEXT the model I'll buy will be ~ $35/mo or $420 per year, nothing down except taxes.

It's worth it to me to pay an extra $20 per year to have a new phone each year. Sure, I don't have the phone to sell after 2 years, but that's also fine with me to get a new device each year.

And you forgot to add a category for the folks who are not using an iPhone, and are unlikely to ever do so.

On the rare occasion that I do carry a mobile phone, it is a $22 blue Nokia with a monochrome screen.

That is unlikely to change any time soon. A Mac Mini on my desk is about as far down the gadget road as I am ever going to get. I like to use a decent sized screen. My eyes and mitts, and lifestyle are not a fit for all those dainty, delicate little mobile gadgets.

Besides, I rather like the feeling of being off line the moment I walk away from my desk.

Sold my 5s about two hours ago and have my 4 hooked up. Still hoping I'll find a 4s somewhere local as the 4 is a bit of a drag.

Still not 100% sure on the 6 but if I'm not fond of it after getting my hands on session I'll likely end up with a 5c.

I just sold my iPhone 5 to fund the new iPhone 6 so I am now rocking my original iPhone. It is PAINFULLY slow. It hurts so bad.

iPhone 4 since I put my 5c on top of my car on August 18th (my birthday) and my husband drove off.

4S - but only because I maxed out 64GB a long time ago, so there was no point upgrading until Apple released a 128GB model.

Maybe I'll get my chance with the iPhone 6 as long as they release the 4.7 inch version with the larger capacity.
