If you don’t like the price of the XS, then go with the XR.
If you must have Touch ID then go for the 8.

Both are good options.

Why is the Xr useless? It’s probably the best bang for the buck if you want FaceID or want longevity.

Totally agree - it hits the sweet spot for everything (except the screen)

The screen for my is a big downgrade. Single camera, aluminium and more. Is just an Iphone 7S.
