Hello,

If the iPad Pro 10.5 were your main device, which phone would you get to use as an accessory to the iPad to use when you were out an about? For example, I like mountain biking and canoes/kayaks/small sailboats. I have seen some waterproof cases for iPhones. These are places that I would not take the iPad Pro, but I would like to remain connected with my family, and take some photos to send to the Ipad for editing/viewing/storage.

The iPad Pro has LTE.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Personally, I'd choose whichever phone I liked the best. I wouldn't say one iPhone or the other complement a certain size iPad.

It's not an easy question to answer. Because everybody will vary what iPhone they want to use for reasons based on display size and or features for example. I really don't think there is a specific iPhone they can be paired with the iPad, which ultimately depends on what the user wants or is comfortable with.

You ask me if you should buy an Audi or BMW after buying a Ferrari... It doesn't really matter, there's so many ways to look at this. Buy the iPhone 7S, because you don't need a big iPhone

I think that I will go with the iPhone SE. Since the iPad is the primary device, I want the smaller one to take biking, hiking and other occasions where smaller is better. 128Gb Dark Grey with Black.

Thanks for your thoughts.

The iPad Pro changed everything for me since it has become my primary device. I have an SE for the foreseeable future and it will be replaced when necessary by whatever base model is available. Same applies to a laptop while I still have a need for one - currently 15in MacBook Pro 2010.
