Looking to buy a Power Mac G5 and can't decide what config is the best to run the Myst series of applications.

They came with a variety of graphics cards:
Power Mac11,2,Late 2005: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE, GeForce 6600, GeForce 7800 GT, Quadro FX 4500)

Power Mac7,2 Early 2005 (dual 2.0 GHz) PowerMac7,3 (dual 2.3, 2.7 GHz): NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL, ATI Radeon 9600, Radeon 9650, or Radeon X850 XT

Any recommendation or other config suggestions will be appreciated.

Any combo should run Myst games with little difficulty.

If you want the greatest, get the Quad Core 2.5GHz 11,2 with either a GeForce 7800 or Quadro FX 4500.

That's what I run and it's pretty awesome

The X850XT for the AGP-based G5s is a better card than the FX4500 for PCIe based G5s.

With that said, I'd take a Quad with a mid-range video card over a dual processor with a high end video card. In some ways, the GEForce range of cards vs the Quadro range of cards are better for gaming-it has to do with precision rendering vs. speed. On a dual core or Quad G5, I'd lean toward a GEForce 7800GT(what I'm currently running in my Quad) or a Radeon X1900XT.
