Which is a better way to restore my phone if I have iOS problems/bugs?

I'm a big fan of iTunes restore. Don't ask why, no tangible reason. Seems better in my mind.

I've had a couple of problems since installing 9.1 and I am going to restore / set up my phone as new. I have the latest iOS version installed, but which is better overall to restore via iTunes and then Set up as new or to Erase all content and settings?

Erase all content and settings. I do it many, many times a week. iTunes restore only if DFU is needed for frozen system.

There's nothing wrong with the iTunes way, same result, just more cables.
