id pick a mini 'cause they the cheapest and in a sense offer both speed AND mobility.
Do I need to bring up relevance and TOS to you like you did in the other thread?
How is a mac mini relevant to PowerMac G4 or PowerBook G4..

Yeah I know what the OP means about wanting old machines; I *was* going to buy a G4 Cube (not in the best of condition) and an iMac G4 (a bit expensive). A shame really.
What do you mean by better?![]()
I don't want it because it's old, because I can actually put it to use.
By better, I mean by how well iMovie or whatnot would run on it.
iMovie HD runs really well on a 1GHz G4
I'm going to go ahead and tell you that if you buy the PowerMac, bring a car.
It weighs well over 40 pounds and it was NOT fun hauling it a half mile to the bus stop, onto the bus, and off the bus to my apartment!![]()
I loved the eMac G4 1.42 Ghz model. To answer your question, the Powerbook went to 1.67 Ghz, the PM went to what, 1.2?-1.4? So, Powerbook.
