Which is faster for graphic design work?

iMac 2.16Ghz C2D with 2 gigs of ram

or

PowerMac 2.0Ghz G5 Dual with 3 gigs of ram?

I use the PowerMac now but have the option to take the iMac and use it for work. Thoughts?

well, hmm. The g5 probably has a better gfx, it being a pro machine, but the processor in the imac is significantly faster. Id say imac

go with iMac. You get the benefits of dual core, plus maybe faster memory, and newer graphics chipsets... Would have to see all the stats to know for sure.
