I have:

MB Dual Core 1.8ghz with 1GB
and
Dual 1.8 G5 with 2GB RAM and 256MBVRAM.

Which would be faster when processing imovie files in iDVD?

I ask because im not sure if VRAM makes a difference with the processing?

If that is the case I obviously will use the G5. However if its pure CPU power needed I guess the MB is the way to go with it being slightly faster?

FYI the movie is 90 minutes long (its actually a soccer match) :D

If you have them both, why not try it on both and see for yourself? Find some short 1 minute clip, and compare how long it takes to render in iDVD.

VRAM will not matter, only CPU will matter for this.
