Hi, I've always used safari as a browser, but i recently noticed some sites won't work with it. I dl'ed firefox and is actually way faster for me. Just out of curiousity, I was wondering if firefox was as secure as safari?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/3B48b Safari/419.3)

I have noticed that Safari is faster and I use it almost all the time now. Every once in a while a site requires Firefox so that's when its handy.

firefox has more features to keep you secure, such as phishing siting warning, no automatic execution of downloaded files.

and firefox patches security problem faster.

all in all, you don't need to worry about security problem with firefox on a mac.
