Just wondering what is the best bittorent client out there for mac users. I am preferably looking for something that is user friendly.
The only ones I know are tomatotorrent and azureus.
If there are any other suggestions please post here.
Thanks in advance!

I second that Transmission works VERY well, i ve tried a couple others but none compare.

Transmission + use the search option on this forum. There's a lot of topics asking this already and you'll get the answers there.

I'm currently downloading with both Azureus and Transmission. After Azureus finishes, I think I'm only going to use Transmission. Its amazing how Transmission uses only half the resources that Azureus uses.

I've used them all and in the end I prefer BitTyrant, simply for the speed. It's based on Azureus so it's buggy and crashes periodically, but you simply can't compete with its speed. I've gotten over a megabyte per second on a cable connection with it.

Read the FAQ, it apparently uses some technique that makes it more "selfish" than the other torrent clients.

I started with Azureus and switched to Transmission. After one download with Transmission, I removed Azureus from my system.

Transmission...

Is there something big happening on the torrent community? the last three days I've seen an increase on the amount of posters asking for torrent-clients...uhm...
