I got an Open Box Mac Mini M2 from MicroCenter for $425 yesterday. I feel like that's cheap for what you get from an powerful machine. I was worried about 8Gb vs 16Gb, and the slower SSD. But I don't think I could've done better. Also added AC+!

But now leaves me to KB/Mouse. I wanna go with the MX Keys Mini and the MX Master 3s. But I keep hearing negative comments about it disconnecting via Bluetooth and or USB with the Bolt. The price is a little worry some too, but I really enjoy the feel of the mouse. I tried it at MicroCenter. Lenovo has an package deal of both for $169. Which is an solid deal.

I can get an new in package, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Magic Mouse 2 for $75 + $10 shipping. I originally was going to do this for the Touch ID. But then I remember I have an AW Ultra. Which should do the same thing. I don't like the non backlit on it, but at that price its an steal. Obviously you either love or hate the Magic Mouse 2. My Mom has one I got her, and its nowhere my favorite but it makes due.

Am I overlooking the KB/M issue from Logitech? I see more threads on reddit with people having issues like lag over bluetooth, and some say bluetooth is better then using the USB Bolt. But I don't know? What do you guys use and recommend?

I just got the new M2 Mini and decided to go with the Apple KB with Touch ID and the new Magic Mouse. I LOVE them both! The included cable not only charges both but instantly syncs them to the Mini. Worked like a charm! Do not regret this choice. I moved to the Mini from a 2012 iMac and old Apple KB and Magic Mouse, both of which chewed through batteries and occasionally lost connection. The new versions are infinitely better!

BTW, the mini rocks!!

I'm tempted to do that because at $85, that's an steal on eBay. I just don't know if worth spending the extra $80 for the Logitech ones. Because the mouse feels 10x better, and the KB has an backlit on it too.

I’m not familiar with the options you are considering. But, I will say this. Why not just get what you really want! The Mini is really great. Top it off with the KB and mouse that suits you best. You’ll only regret the $ once, but will love the Mini experience daily!

My Mini M2 I paired with the latest magic keyboard and slightly older Trackpad supplementing my Razer mouse. My work Windows Laptop I use MX Keys and MX Master 2s and it works very well. The MX stuff I would definitely stick to the Dongle. As that's more reliable connection. I never found BT to be a good connection for MX stuff.

Yeah my Aunt has an older Trackpad going unused. But I can get the newer Touch ID Magic KB, and Magic Mouse 2 for $85 shipped. Which is an excellent deal. Just seeing how no backlit and how the mouse sucks. Makes me wanna go with something else, but all the reviews and comments on reddit about the logitech makes me think the Apple is better option. People were having issues back and forth on using the USB and Bluetooth. I just don't want any issues. If the KB for Apple had backlit, I would've picked it 100% sure. I don't wanna buy the Magic KB and Mouse, just to buy the Trackpad. Because I know the Trackpad is better... I could take my Aunt older one, but feels like that redundant and not worth it.
