Which Mac Pro for Logic Studio?

Well, I just pushed the Submit button on my purchase...

Two 2.26GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
12GB (6X2GB) RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB

that's what i ordered too.. except the other stuff

8GB makes no sense! Due to triple-channel you should use 6GB!

Take a look at the various graphs on speed vs memory.

For the octo, you want to go 6 or 12 GB
for the quad (maxes out at 8GB), it worked best maxed out at 8GB rather then 6GB.
