Which Mac Should I Buy???

I've been looking for a macbook with fast speed and big HD. I am looking at 2 online. One is an apple store refurbished Macbook with a 2.4GHz, 2GB ram, and a 250GB HD (http://store.apple.com/us/product/FB467LL/A?mco=MjE0NjI4NQ). I am also looking at an ebay item (http://cgi.ebay.com/Macbook-Aluminu...trkparms=65:12|66:2|39:1|72:2127|293:1|294:50) that has a 2GHz processer, 4GB RAM, and a 320GB HD. Which will run faster? Whick Should I Buy. Help, running out of time

Get the refurb and upgrade the warranty. The other one is used.

Get the refurbished 2.4GHz Macbook and upgrade the RAM to 4GB and a 7200RPM hard drive or an SSD, then it will be faster than that 2GHz Macbook.

The RAM will cost probably $60 max, and hard drives are about $100 if the capacity is really that important. I'm having trouble filling up my 250 GB, much less a 320 GB. Under basic usage, I would guess that the refurb would still run faster in it's current state. In addition, the warranty will last longer, especially if you buy AppleCare, it will likely be in better condition (if only slightly) and be individually inspected and repaired by Apple prior to shipment.

type it into youtube.... i would still highly suggest getting one of the new mbp the much longer battery really is worth the money.

The install instructions for ram & HD also come in your new mac's manuals

The first one is definitely the best buy. It's easier to upgrade the ram and hdd at a later date when you need to and you have the added security of buying direct from Apple
