$75.99 at Newegg.ca for Crucial RAM or $72.99 for Mushkin RAM at Newegg.ca. Seagate 7k320 free shipping at Newegg $109.99 while the WD 7k320 is $112.49 at Newegg.ca and not free shipping. It's up to you if you want to sell the old RAM, but you won't get much for it. Also, it is in your best interest to put the old RAM back in if you get it repaired for any reason. Remember you are paying tax on the RAM straight from Apple but you do gain the lifetime warranty on the RAM and not have to worry about it. It is up to you.
Why do you want to use parallels or VMware just for windows live messenger?
I've just bought the 2.4GHz Macbook and just use messenger for Mac, no difference really, definitely not worth the extra operating system and additional programs and resources.
I'm using my Macbook for Heavy CAD work and CS4 along with other stuff so I did need the extra processor speed. I will upgrade the RAM soon too.

If you did upgrade a lot, it'd in fact make more common sense to buy a very high-end model the first time so you wouldn't burn so much money with additional upgrades.

The video is alright and everything seems to work. ignore the review that was said about it that is crashes all the time. its pretty good and has video.

how would u compare the quality with windows live messenger ?

It has been stable so far, is fast enough, no problems at all. looks cool (same as old messenger but with video and stuff) erm... Unobtrusive and does the job well. I always thought the windows version was always to cluttered with all the advertisements and stuff so i like it better.
Its a shame about the little games you can play on the windows version though and draw messages, not needed but just something to mess about with.
