Which macbook for Aperture

I'm considering upgrading from MacBook 1st gen (lowest model) to a MacBook Pro (lowest model). Will i notice an increase in speed when i use aperture? It's so slow now that it's annoying 😛

Aperture is one of the few apps that really leverages the GPU. Therefore, I would get a MBP with as much 256MB of VRAM. Possible the next gen will even pack 512MB is you wait a couple of weeks.

The integrated graphics with 64MB of shared video memory is definitely slowing you down in Aperture.

Programs like Aperture and Lightroom like plenty of ram and the faster the processor is, the better.
