Which Macbook Pro can playback 1080p content?

Which versions of the Macbook Pro can playback 1080p content smoothly with bitrates ranging from 10 - 25 Mbps?

Would there be any loss in using the dvi-hdmi and connecting it to a 1080p capable hdtv?

Would the MBP output in 1080i?
