Which Macbook Pro do I need?

Which macbook pro should I get (not 17 inch). I do video and photo editing, school work, music, stuff like that. I'm on a budget so I want the one the will be good for this stuff i don't need a super amazing one just one that will do what I need it to.

I use adobe CS5 software, and lightly use autodesk.

The 2.4/8/256 variant of the 13" rMBP will do you fine.

Which Macbook Pro do I need?

13" or 15" would be up to your preference. I'd go for at least 8gb of ram.
