I had dead tree subs to all of them and they just piled up unread. Who has time. So I contacted the publishers and asked if I could get the eVersion instead. They said no prob. So now they come in to my iPad via Zinio and I read them here and there & have a lot less trash now.

If you are wondering why I'd subscribe to mags and then let them pile up unread I get them all free. I would never pay for a subscription.

We have Maxim mag ($8 per year via Zinio), People magazine (free for current people magazine subscribers), and ESPN the Mag (also free for espn magazine and insider subscribers).

In my opionion, if you currently subscribe to the paper/home magazine, they should include the digital version for free (because you are still subjected to the same ads).

Also digital magazines need to be much cheaper. Some of them are $4-5 per magazine digital per issue.

I've been using digital and love it. It's far better then the paper versions. I do agree that the price should be better on the digitalis because there is no printing, postage, etc.

I haven't had any format troubles on the iPad & prefer them that way!

Reading on my original iPad sucked.

Reading on my iPad 2 sucks more.

Reading on my new Kindle is outstanding.

If you like to read ebooks magazines and such, you need a Kindle to have the best experience. Plain and simple.

Yeah, because trying to read a full magazine page on a kindle is so much fun.

You're right though. The iPad sucks so much in full, brlliant color, full page reading without squinting and its animated graphics. I don't know how I get through dealing with all that.

I think Project is very cool. The Daily is light hearted and easy to read.

I read MacWorld, Rolling Stone, Esquire, and Men's Fitness through Zinio and really enjoy it.

I also like the MacWorld app as well and use that often. Of course Flipboard and Zite are used ever day as well.
