Which metadata of date is being used by Moments on Photos app

Anyone know which metadata of date is being used by Moments on Photos app? e.g. "Date Taken"

I'm seeing issue that the date (metadata: date taken) on the pictures are correct, but when photo is being synchronized from iTunes to iPhone. It shows up wrong date, even the geolocation is wrong (the GPS info on the picture is right).

iOS: 8.4.1 on iPhone 6 Plus

Looks right if you took the picture two minutes before the screenshot. When was the picture taken?

I "sync photos" again in iTunes and it resolved the issue i was seeing.
