I'm amazed at how well the mini holds it value. I scour ebay daily and the used ones are selling for not much less than a new one would.

Why would someone buy an 09 when you can get an 11 for a couple hundred more?

I bought a late '09 mini to be my HTPC, and while I was mildly irritated when the '10 mini came out just a couple of months later with built in HDMI output and no power brick, with my BD player, surround sound and cable box, there's so much spaghetti back there that a bit extra really makes no big difference. I have to say, I definitely think the pre-summer-2010 form factor looks much better than the newer ones. It always makes me sad to see my cable box at about 6 times the volume next to the mini. If only I could get some software to do the cable decoding inside the mini.
