which model was the last-gen 17" MBP ?

    is there a list of the model numbers, their specs and the effective dates it ran ?

    in October 2008, they it to 4gb ram and a 320gb HDD .... making a new 766LL/a ? (this model has the Hi-Res option)

    I see the 166ll/a
    766/lla (hi-res)
    and the 2.6ghz 512ll/a (hi-res)

    They refreshed the computer to 2.5GHz/4GB RAM/320GB HDD with high resolution. 2.6GHz upgrade was a $300 BTO option.

    166LL/A was the early 2008 model.

    766LL/A was the late 2008 model where they made the hi res screen, 4GB and 320GB HDD standard.

    The new unibody one is 604LL/A.

    is the 166ll/a worth $1799?
    the 766ll/a worth $1999 (with the Hi-Res /4gb/320hdd)?
    what about the 512ll/a for $1899 (with Hi_res / 2.6ghz)
