Hello. I want to buy a mouse for my MBP (summer 2007 model). I will use it mainly with Vista (32-bit and 64-bit) running under Fusion 3.0.1. Which mouse do you recommend? Here are the requirements:

- comfortable for long term use
- portable, light weight
- good for manipulating (turning, translating) objects in 3D applications
- compatible with both Mac and PC (Fusion and Bootcamp)
- I don't care if it is wired or wireless
- in the wireless case, good if it can be recharged and in the case the batteries
die, I can just take it out and swap for new ones.

Thank you.

Anything NOT made by Apple. 😀 Na, I actually use a wireless Mighty Mouse myself, but I wouldn't recommend it as a "good" mouse - it's merely OK.

I like Logitech mice, but I have to have my things match or it bothers me, so I'm stuck with my Mighty (Magic Mouse is an absolute NO GO due to lack of center/wheel click).

I've been using a logitch nano for 6-8 months and I really like the lightweight portability and comfort. But... since everybody has different hand shapes, head over to your local Best Buy or staples and grope away 😱😀

If you want mobility; Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX
If you want a full-size mouse; Logitech Performance Mouse MX

Thanks for the suggestions. I bought the Logitech Anywhere Mouse few hours ago. Have been using it under Mac OS and Windows XP via Fusion 3.0.1. It is working fine so far.
