I'm definitely thinking about trying some old black and white films.
Dial M for Murder is a good idea. I didn't realize he filmed it in 3D.

Will I be able to watch films from the Criterion Collection on the Vision Pro?

Oh, oh, I know, the films of Jeunet: City of Lost Children, Delicatessen. Micmacs.

Buxom Bosoms At the Clothing Optional OK Corral, Part VI: Ride 'Em Cowboy

What?! It's a classic of cinema, just aching to be experienced on a virtual 1000 foot screen!

Endgame's running time is over 3 hours. Would have to watch it in pass-thru mode unless one takes a break.

Only if you’re watching it on the battery. If you’re watching a movie at home why not plug it in? If that’s not practical you could always buy a second battery. If I was going to use it while traveling I’d definitely spend the money on an extra battery but there’s no way I’m wearing mine in public 😝

When traveling, just plug it in. I really don’t see the need for an extra battery.

I'm hoping some games will be tuned for it to really emphasize the effects better. Most modern movies suck, and I doubt you can do justice to the older movies retrofitting them.

This is the main reason I bought the AVP.

I'd like to see my favorites on Apple TV, Netflix, Hulu, Paramount +, etc...

Don't know which titles are available for 3D.....
Netflix/Prime/Youtube even, has diddly squat available in 180VR. THAT is the reason they are not launching apps on AVP…

Netflix/Youtube/PrimeTV have an app on Oculus quest, and there is nothing, nada, zero on any of them worth watching.

Am I right in thinking the Phantom Menace is the only Star Wars movie in 3D? If so, why is the worst Star Wars movie the only one in 3D? 😝

Still, that’ll probably be what I watch first!

Pretty sure the force awakens was listed as one of the 3D movies.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The Spiderverse movies. Not definite on which one will be first.

Then there are a bunch of Pixar movies I want to watch.

With the advent of AI developed 3D environments & AI now able to turn 2D Pics into 3D images, I wonder how soon a service will emerge to convert any movie into 3D?

The first Iron Man! Been meaning to rewatch for a while, plus it's one of the first movies to really get me into the concept of augmented reality (his helmet HUD and the hologram table he uses)

Probably Avatar: The Way of Water. Mainly because I didn't see it in theaters, and I'm curious how the 48 FPS sections look.

Pixar movies will probably have the highest quality of 3D, since they are natively rendered in 3D, with no conversion needed. (even live-action movies filmed with stereo cameras will have some level of 3D conversion in some scenes)

Well, actually, I won't be watching any movies, because I didn't order the VP, and the nearest Apple store is over 200 miles away, so I won't even get to watch the Avatar 2 trailer.
