    Hey

I pre ordered the new MBP with touch bar from Amazon but it seems Amazon is taking long to have it. And today other shops got similar one available today so please help me choose if it's worth waiting or not:

The one I ordered is MLH42LL while the one available is MLH32LL the difference I found is that the one available is 2.6Ghz instead of 2.7Ghz and 256Gb storage instead of 512 and also L3 Cache is 6MB instead of 8MB but on the other hand it's 400$ cheaper.

So is it worth waiting for it and paying 400$ more? regardless of the 256Gb more storage what do you think? I need it fast that's why I may consider buying one with lower specs unless it's worth the time...

They are the 2 in the top and the left one is available now

So what do you think guysss?

It's worth ringing local suppliers and Apple stores as they may have some higher specs in stock!! But yeah I wouldn't buy a computer with less than 512gb storage in this day and age of 4K video, hides audio and huge photo files etc... I'd wait.

Now the SSD is soldered onto the logic board upgrading the SSD in years to come will be impossible.
What size hard drive did you have 3 years ago?

I am currently using Macbook Pro retina 15" mid 2014 it has 2.5GHz - 512GB and 16GB ram.

so if I don't care about storage do you think I should go for the new MLH42LL or MLH32LL?????

If you don't care about the smaller SSD, then go for the less expensive model. You didn't define your usage, so its impossible to say that you'll notice any performance difference between the two processors.

I am not a graphics or heavy user. I just use it for uni like Word and Powerpoint and such basics stuff. The heaviest software I use is Adobe Premiere I think and iMovie. I don't really play games so what do you think?
