Which of these 2 monitors would you recommend?

For what use(s)? A decent monitor for browsing the net will not be OK for high end gaming or photo editing. Form follows function.
 
Its for general use (browsing, photo editing, word docs) and a bit of gaming here n there
 
Search these two monitors on New Egg and look at the user comments (presuming there are some). Should help.
