I wear running shoes for running, and I have a pair of iron rangers that I normally wear daily, but I don't plan on wearing them during summer time. And obviously those shoes you linked look horrible, what's the point of that?

No more, or less, subjective than your choices.

No, they're not. Those are dress shoes intended to be worn strictly with business attire. Not jeans.

So the point was moot from the beginning, and the intention of linking the shoes was to demonstrate the ugliness of them.

If you're not going to be helpful, that's fine. But don't do so under false pretenses. Just troll so that everybody can see it's obvious so it can be ignored.

Again, depends on how old you are. :p Many older men wear leather shoes like that with jeans. Those, or New Balance.

And you slammed someone's advice even though it was totally legitimate. Brogues/wingtips aren't the type of shoes you'd wear with jeans either, so the advice you thought looked ridiculous actually wasn't any more or less ridiculous as your original question. Again, you want to wear wingtips with jeans!! Wingtips. Jeans. Wingtips. Jeans! :p

If you're going to get wingtips/brogues, at least buy suede ones with a sole that has an interesting colour (eg: light brown and dark red-brown sole), such as some of the Mark McNairy's. Otherwise, don't bother. Both of the shoes you can want would look awkward with jeans. Perhaps they would look trendy where you live, but certainly not where I live. They're just old man business shoes. The style became popular again ~2 years ago, so you're just late.

No, the shoes I posted are shoes that you can wear with jeans. That's whats so great about them, and as others pointed out, with a dark pair of jeans they'd look fantastic. And it's obvious that you don't know what you're talking about when you call those shoes "old mans business shoes". There's hardly anything old or business about them.

maybe old mans business shoes are a bit of a harsh way of putting it, but for everyday use those shoes do seem a bit too formal. I voted other as I would chose something black or sport shoes .

Well I doubt I'll literally wear them everyday, but i'd like them to be something that I could wear everyday, just a casual shoe.

I don't wear sport shoes unless I'm working out. Just my personal preference.

I like brown because it goes well with my clothing, skin tone, and hair color. But I'm open to suggestions. You mention black, what would you choose?

I don't know maybe something like this:

There's something about the 2nd pair that I prefer :)

I have an all black pair that I use for business casual, etc... without the holes and stuff. I like them very much. That's part of what stood out to me about that second pair. Which is why I have a difficult time with this decision.
