Stuck between the defender and impact. Had a defender on my 3GS. While bulky it kept the phone mint with no worries. The iPhone 4 one doesn't look like it's as bulky but of the phone being flat

I can't see why anyone would trash the great look of the iPhone 4 with one of these utter ugly and bulky cases. surely there are other options for good, overall protection.

I like them because I don't feel like replacing a screen or having a phone full of scratches or dings. I work outside and like keeping my gadgets in a nice condition.

I want an OtterBox Impact like I had for my iPhone 3GS simply because it covers EVERYTHING but the screen (i.e. the earpiece and the home button). I can't believe that no other manufacturer makes a thick silicone case that covers the home button. In the meantime I'm using a Rocketfish case which is nice and thick but doesn't over the complete coverage I'm looking for.

Hurry up Otterbox!

Some people work job that require us to work outside and sometimes in hazardous conditions.

just spoke to an otter rep...she estimates one month on the defender.

its the case for me....as a cyclocommuter/outdoors enthusiast with an anti-king midas touch and virtual disregard for fragile electronics there is no higher level of protection...bulky and ugly as it is, we're still talking about a $700 unit with a two year commitment.

A commuter for me as I have one on my existing storm and it isn't that bulky but offers great protection

I wont use it all the time though, only on nights out and when I go travelling

I want a defender bc I dont like the screen protectors u have to put on yourself. Do you think the iphone 4 defender will be less bulky then the previous versions? The picture of it looks that way.
