Note 4, Nexus with S-pen support, Sony Ultra Z with a better camera, LG Flex with higher resolution and stylus support.

Since I don't know what Moto or HTC has planned, and I don't know if/when Verizon might get the 2nd version of the One, the Note 4 is what I'm looking forward to.

I'm pretty in love with the 5" 1080p form factor, though, so if anything in that size comes out on Verizon it'll be a contender right there with the Note 4.

Since I'm upgrade eligible in a couple of weeks, it's between the S5 and M8 (new HTC One) for me. Can't wait to see how these two "bring it" in 2014.

Already seen the so-called leaked images of the iPhone 6 today. Looks pretty good if they are real. Want it in white and gold. The ring around the home button in the 5s doesn't look good on the black version. Will likely get the 5s next year for $50 or free on contract and then update to a 6s in 2017 even if that comes out next year. No rush for iPhones. So commonly bought and Apple doesn't discontinue them for 3 years except the iPhone 5.
But "s" models are the best inside/out.

Have a Galaxy s4 right now, but I'm really anxious to see what Apple does with the iPhone 6. I was almost ready to pull the trigger on an off contract Moto X but I'm glad I didn't since the following week Google sold Moto to Lenovo. I guess we'll see what happens.

The Moto Merger won't have any effect on Motorola for atleast a year and a half at a minimum. Its pretty safe to pick one up/

IPhone 6 with a new design. The next nexus if they don't kill it. Hardware has gotten really dull. This OEMS need to focus on battery life and not 4k displays. Software capabilities is really the only interesting thing to me. So really I'm looking forward to android and ios updates.

I am eager to see the next iPhone, Nexus, and Note. And I am very curious to see what Nokia puts out once WP 8.1 launches. I'd love to see the next gen 1020 and 1520, whatever they may be called.

If the iPhone does get a larger screen, I am going to at least try it. I haven't used an iPhone for a good while and I'd love to give it another shot on a larger screen. I will more than likely wind up with a Note 4 or Lumia 1520+

Battery life and software optimization are the only things I want the OEMS to focus on. I want to be able to us my phone sparingly over three days. I normally only use my smartphone for occasional texts and calls and by the end of the day it's dead. The only reason I even have a smartphone is the rare occasions when I need to look up directions on the go.

Nothing right now, smartphone design is getting kind of boring. Just about everything new is a generic glass slab with slightly improved software, guts, and battery life. I'm hoping some new trends come around and we see some cool software innovation in 2015 and maybe an escape from the slab design.

With things like google now, motorola and even to an extent samsung, software innovation is coming.

I'm interested in the LG G Pro 2. I was reading about it yesterday and it sounds pretty nice. If it comes to Verizon I'll be tempted.

I like it a lot too. Only problem is it's too big. 5.5 would have been perfect for me.

And LG is still using the menu on screen button. So lame.

The next iPhone.

Possible others:

Sony Z1 compact's successor/google play edition IF that becomes a reality.

Next Nexus if it remains at 5 inches and does not make another jump to something like 5.5 or 5.9 or 6.8 etc.

Maybe a new blackberry or lumia too...

I am not interested at all in any OEM skinned phones. I prefer my portable communications device to be to the point than full of bloated features i never use.

M8 and S5. My guess is that the S5 will be my next phone.

Excited to see the larger iPhone for sure. It's going to be a big deal.

Hopefully the rumors are false and we see a new Nexus in the fall.
