I am wanting to set up a database (inventory) of my sewing/craft studio. Sounds weird, but if you could see my studio you would completely understand. I have an abundance of supplies and have found myself purchasing duplicates because I don't have a logical database/inventory set up.

My ideal set up would be to have a database set up that would have pictures of the items and with cross references to related items.

The systems I have are iMac 27" and a 13" Macbook Pro. I would also like to access the database files using my iPhone and iPad.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kim

Have you considered Numbers? I know it's not exactly a database app, but I used it to inventory my home before a big move and also for cataloging my movies. Might not be the best option, but it's a lot cheaper than FileMaker, and LibreOffice as far as I know doesn't have an iOS app. There are also plenty of tutorials available online that could help you out.
