PowerMac G4 MDD

I have a Dual 2.0Ghz PowerMac G5. It's a 2003 model. For some reason the top fan spins backwards and the bottom fan spins the correct way, yet the system is running fine and at good temperatures. Anyway, I was told that it's a short in my fan and that I need to get it replaced. However, I have found fans that are listed specifically for the late 2005 model, and others that were listed under a model number. Which is the correct one to get for my 2003 G5? What is the difference between the rear exhaust fans for a 2005 G5 and a 2003 G5? If there is a crucial difference, then can someone point me to the correct product at a price that is no more than $10? I have seen 2005 G5 exhaust fans new for $2. Sorry for my lack of knowledge here. I am NOT a Mac n00b but it is my first time ever using/owning a PowerMac G5.
