I have my 2011 Mac Mini connected to my 42" Toshiba TV. In Lion's system prefs, I have the resolution set to 1080p, but the choices I have for Refresh Rate are 24Hz, 50Hz (PAL) and 60Hz (NTSC). Which should I choose?

I use the Mac Mini purely as a Media Centre (running Plex in full screen). I'm in the UK, and the TV is capable of 100Hz.

Thanks

U.K
basically the human eye can't tell the difference between 50 and 60hz, so I don't think its worth it.

UK TV PAL standard is 50Hz, so your TV will definitely be able to show that. Most TVs in recent years are the same model as the USA model and are capable of 60Hz. It shouldn't make too much difference which you use, but you can always try 60. Only use 24 if you want to watch a film stored on your computer that is at the original 24 frames-per-second.
