Question on the keyboard service program.

The program covers eligible MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models for 4 years after the first retail sale of the unit.

The above is the wording from the Apple site. If you purchase a refurbished unit does the clock tick from your purchase or an earlier date. For example a refurb 2019 model. Does the keyboard cover end 2023 or the date of purchase + 4years.

If it's a refurbished model straight from Apple, yes. If it's a refurbished model from elsewhere, no.
