Hey guys and girls just wanted to ask for opinions on this matter. I am going into university to be a CIS (computer information systems) major and was wondering on if I should get a 13in MBP, or 13in MBA? I really like the resolution of the air and like the look of the computer more, but I like the fact that on the pro I can upgrade everything myself and I do have a spare 128gb SSD lying around to throw in the computer to make it just as fast as the air. The only reason I am asking is because when it comes to looks, it matters to me, I like the air more then the pro based on looks and resolution, but like the advantages the pro offers.
I know I am going to have to throw windows on the device at some point for my major (I assume) but if there are any other CIS majors or IT majors in general I would like some feedback on your opinion. Also I do have a gaming rig as well and this is another reason I was going to consider the air as well, but I cannot carry that around with me when I need windows of course so...
Also just looking at the base models, I do not want to spend more then what the base models offer.
