So I can't decide which size to get. I have a gig of music and about a gig of podcasts/video podcasts. I'm probably not going to keep many movies on there at the same time, or leave them on for a while. So I'm thinking the 8gig would be fine. I currently have a 4gig iPod nano with plenty of head room. Do you think I should be concerned about hitting my head with 8 gigs?

8G should Work

8 gig's should work fine for you, but let me caution you that each video is around 1 gig, so you really could only have 5 movies on top of your music, and podcasts. So if that works, get the 8 gig, but if there is any doubt, and if you can afford it the 16G may be a viable option. Either way you will love your new iPod.

8 GB is plenty for you. Moves take up space but not so much if you optimize them for your iPod. The other thing is you've got Apps coming out, so consider that if you want to take full advantage for what the touch has to offer!

Rumor mill has it that 8 GB might not exist in the summer and the price will drop...if that means anything to you consider that as well!

If you can wait a couple months for the drop in price (it's coming. 500 dollars is TOO MUCH for an iPod anything, then you can get the 16GB for 100 bucks less.

However, if you can't, by all means, 8GB is plenty for you.
