which socket for 1GB ram stick

i just installed a 1GB ram stick taking me up to 1.5GB but i just noticed its in bank 0 rather than bank 1. would it be better (ie more efficient) to stick it in the other slot?

It doesn't matter which one it's in as long as both are installed and read correctly.

It would be more efficient to run identical memory, so you can run in Dual Channel Mode. Other than that you, are good to go.
