And why? 🤔

This year I went with the 128GB route because on my 11PM 256GB, I'm only using 50GB and stream most things such as movies and music.

256. I think I would have been more than happy one tier less but alas. I’m not a smart man.

512 is a crazy price jump, but both my iPhone 7 (loved the Jet Black) and X had 256 so would struggle to downsize, so another 256 for me.

I went 128GB because I used about 25GB on my 64GB pro. I could go as low as 32GB if I had to. I used about 18-20GB on my previous 32GB phones. 😂😂

all music and photos in iCloud and I regularly delete my messages so it’s pretty much just apps.

Was going for 128 but delivery date already slipped to november so I went for the 256 delivered on launch day.

64GB. I had a 256GB iPhone X before but I never needed that much storage. I got a 64GB XS Max to replace it and I’m still only using 47GB or so. I’ll be fine with 64GB for a long time but I think 128GB will be the base next year.

128gb here moving from 128gb note 9 and currently using 67gb. Need to do some housekeeping tbh but for a bit more I wanted piece of mind if I take shed loads of video.

64 gb. I’m currently using 30 gb of my 64. I had the X in 64 and was using that then too. Clearly it’s a good spot for my minimal usage.

256. I really waffled on it though. I gave my old phone back to the carrier a month ago and didn’t check how much was used .. but since it was 256, I know I’ll be good. I have my photos/music loaded on since we don’t have the crazy data plans that allows streaming, I have a ton of music too. probably overkill, but better to have too much than too little?

Went with 128. I'm only using 65gb on my 256gb and I plan to start fresh and get rid of a lot of useless apps I know I have.

using 83/256 on my iPhone 11 Pro, i went 256 again with the iPhone 12 Pro. my usage increases each year and I want to use the phone for more video + ProRAW so I assume by a year from now I'll be 128 or more of 256.

128GB was enough for me. I'm only ever sitting around 50-60GB but long term with larger photo files and video, I thought it would be beneficial to get the 128GB storage option - luckily this year Apple increased base storage on the iPhone Pro models, meaning I didn't have to pay more to do so.

128GB, down from an X with 256GB. Enabled optimised photo storage so my storage went from 127GB full to 57! Combined that with most of my music is now streamed rather than on device, I only have 10GB maximum of music and podcasts at any one time, down from 70GB last year. So with my change of usage it seemed sensible to save the £100 this upgrade.

I got the 64gig iPhone 12 for wifey but she has 2TB of icloud storage. I am planning to the 128GB - 12 Pro Max but the size does scare me.

I went 512GB. I have a very large photo library (72,400 photos), and a lot of downloaded music (21,300 songs). I could still fit in 256GB but I would only have about 30GB free. Having all of the photos of my life on all of my devices is really nice. The music is important because I drive over the mountains of Oregon quite often with no cell reception, and XM keeps cutting in/out because of the heavy tree coverage. I find having my entire music library on my device gives me plenty of variety.
