Which sync method is faster, USB or wifi?

Since I had problems with my upgrade to iOS 5 and had to wipe and restore my entire phone, I've got a big-a** restore to run now as I re-sync all my music. I was doing it by usb, but it was soooo slow that I switched to wifi. It seems somewhat faster, but is this just my imagination? Is it possible that wifi is the faster method to sync?

    USB will undoubtedly be faster.

My Wifi syncing seemed faster too. More accurately, there seemed to be less "hang ups" and pauses compared to Wifi. But then again it could be that I was syncing an increment rather than the whole thing.

USB. Especially for large games like Infinity Blade.

Definitely USB. Wifi sync takes a bit longer ... especially if you restore from an iCloud backup. It took me literally all night (~12 hours) whereas a USB restore takes me 1.5 hours on a full to the brim 16GB iPhone.

The great thing about wifi sync is that it is very convenient and you don't have to be tethered to your computer.

I honestly haven't noticed a huge difference in speed. USB transfers aren't as constant as wifi though right?

Wireless will always be faster. One day wires will be as fast as wireless and then we can have wires connected to everything. The future.

Wifi is a little slower as far as I can tell. It's not that big of a difference though.
