I personally use Windows Live Writer. It works fine for me and I can edit my post easily. A friend suggested it to me so i gave it a try. I don't have any complains so far. It is user-friendly.
I use TextMate, with autocomplete disabled. I hate that I have to re-adjust my cursor whenever it fills in something for me -- it takes more time to do that than it would to manually type out what it typed for me.
Back when I developed on Windows, I used UltraEdit.
One feature I discovered when switching over to TextMate was the various themes for the editor. When I used UltraEdit, I had a very bland white background (much like 'Mac Classic' in TextMate). I switched over to a darker theme ('Twilight') with TextMate at the recommendation from a friend, and I love it. Much easier on the eyes.

I have tried TextWrangler, jEdit and TextMate before, I found TextMate is the best among the three. The experience is more pleasant when I am using it for my previous RoR development and XML editing. I highly recommended it.
Went through this process a year ago when I switched to Mac. Tried several different text editors looking for something similar to Crimson Editor that I had used for years with Windows. Came across Komodo Edit and haven't looked back.
