Which to get? 7 or 7 Plus?

I've tried 5 7 Pluses, and 3 of the 5 had speaker phone quality so bad that they had to be returned. 2 of the speaker phones delivered outstanding quality.

There are outsized QA issues with these phones.
 
iPhone 7 is better. Buy him. Size is perfect for pockets in some slim jackets.
Silver or Matte Black... hhmmmm...
