Recently finished this Netflix original series. It was really hard to get into at first because many of the characters were inherently unlikeable (I also don't usually watch reality series); but it gets better about three episodes in.

Not binging ( a few a week), but we are watching Only Murders in the Building. Our daughter got us watching it when she was home for a bit.

It's not great (Martin Short is best taken in little bits), but now we want to see who dunnit. :)

Currently watching the Netflix Original Series Resident Evil. There seem to be quite a few negative reviews for this one. But as someone who has never played the games, I would say simply as a dramatic piece, this series is very good. When a work of art is adapted to a new medium, I think different approaches are acquired for the sake of creative freedom. Lance Reddick's performance in particular stands out as a highlight for me.

I just finished Resident Evil and enjoyed the series. Unfortunately, it looks like Netflix isn't going to renew it for a second season.

Really digging Dark Winds... One episode left!

We really liked it. Very sympathetic series (except to the bad guys...).

We thought it would be good when we saw in the opening credits of the first episode that it was backed by Robert Redford and George R. R. Martin.

Currently going through Trom, a new Scandi-noir police mystery based in the Faeroe Islands. Beautiful scenery, complicated plot. Grouse.

I agree re: Dark Winds. We finished it off last night. I guess there is a series of books based on these characters or similar characters so i could see a second season being made. I also feel the six episodes was perfect to tell this story.

Thanks for sharing this series, I've added it to my list of things to watch.

Finished watching The Boys. Way better then season 2, and good all the way through. Nice to see some characters come into their own. Also Butcher and Homelander are greatly flawed and interesting characters. Soldier Boy was a good addition, a bit 1 dimensional, but still interesting.

Getting into Ms Marvel now. After The Boys this feels light and fluffy... :p

After The Boys, I agree completely, all of these types of shows and movies feel very very very light and fluffy!

Didn't think I would like but got hooked and binged. Most shows about a the good/bad individual are granular. The shifts from good to evil come in small jumps. In this show it is continuous, not granular, and you get both at the same time. Multiple storylines, excellent dialogue, realistic (and violent) settings, puts you in their shoes so that you start asking yourself whether the compromises they make do make for a safer city.

Just watched The Orville, episode 8. It clocked in a 1 hour 35 minutes. They're like movies now. And this one had Dolly Parton in a cameo.

Is this the new season on Hulu?

Does it get any better? We loved the first two seasons as it was funny, but S3E1 (at least the first half of it which is all we got through) wasn't funny. And we have had some other stuff to watch so no pressing desire to go back to it yet.
