Which versions of Windows work with 2015 Bootcamp?

Firstly, I'm very sorry if that has already been asked.

I need to purchase a new MacBook Pro to run SolidWorks software for university, and I'm just curious if Windows XP and 7 are still compatible will Bootcamp.

2015 MacBook Pros only support Windows 8.1. 2014 and earlier versions can still run Windows 7. Windows XP support was dropped a couple years ago but can still be run in a virtual machine.
