Hi, my wife absolutely loves her Apple Watch Series 3. Sometimes the battery runs down too quick, but other than that it's fine. She has a braided solo loop strap on it. I was going to buy her a new strap, but at £99, I could put that towards a new watch. Is the Series 3 too old now?

Which Apple Watch is the best value to replace it with please, cellular needed. I have seen refurb Series 6 40mm for £369 and Series 7 for £399 from Apple.

Thanks.

Edit: Can get a new SE for £369 with Braided Solo Loop, how does it compare?

Do not get a new Series 3. I would recommend a used Series 5 for the most value (always on display, bigger screen than the 3) or the Series 7 (even bigger screen).

The first generation SE is nice too, but without the always on screen. The SE2 is a bit faster but no huge leap. And you can find the SE on sale rather often. It's currently $199 for the 40mm cellular model at Walmart in the US. Don't know where you'd find it for similar in the UK.

Get the SE 2. You wont regret it.
