Seems like a trivial question, but I can't work out what the sensible option would be.

My guess would be that they do the 5C first, then leave the 5S till last - the 'flagship' model gets the top of the bill.

But on the other hand, the 5C is a whole new direction for iPhone, a break from the normal iPhone update routine, so perhaps that's more worthy of being the finale of the event?

I'm thinking they might bring back the "one more thing" trope for the 5C, after presenting the 5S.
It IS a "new" product.

"This should brighten everyone's day."

= Referring to the dual flash.

Do they actually need dual flash now to make it brighter since iOS 7 supports flashlight mode?

why would you need a flash during the day? what i got out of it was a Cheaper iphone the general public can afford as well as the flagship.

The cheaper iPhone thing I think is a myth. iPhones aren't even expensive anyone can get one. It doesn't get cheaper than $0.

I would think they would save the 5S for last. The big finale. The 5C certainly shouldn't be the star of the show. It's the low end cheap alternative.

The "C" is for color.
I think the people counting on a cheap iPhone are going to be disappointed.

I agree I think people will be disappointed but it will be because apple is only going to release a iPhone 5C no iPhone 5S.

I think apple will announce the best product or feature last. I don't think the 5 Color will be the new top of the line smartphone. So I would expect the 5C to be announced first.

Since it's fun to guess, I'm going to say they'll announce the 5C first - shipping in September. Then the iPhone 6 (surprise!) - shipping in October, and there will be no iPhone 5S.

I think the lack of leaks (at least, fully assembled leaks) on the next premium iPhone is due to it not being in mass production yet. Maybe because Apple is holding it back so some surprises are really surprises, and the only way to guarantee no leaks is to have no production. If production starts next Tuesday, it's not impossible to get it in people's hands in 4-6 weeks... All pure speculation of course, and I'm probably wrong. :)

I'll go with NOTA-none of the above. They'll introduce both at the same time, then talk about the cheaper phone first.

Man oh man, would this send the tech press, enthusiasts, and consumers alike in a frenzied tailspin. I want this Apple Computer Co. back...

"This should brighten everyone's day."

It is clearly talking about iPhone 5C (C is for Crap colors)

I vote 5S. Lead off with the big guy and close with the new model.

Not everyone buys on a contract. $350-$450 compared to $650 is a huge difference.
