I voted 5S. I think if they started with the 5C people might be disappointed or underwhelmed with lower specs and less features without knowing that a 5S will be introduced.

I vote 5S. Lead off with the big guy and close with the new model.

Not everyone buys on a contract. $350-$450 compared to $650 is a huge difference.
The frugal and price conscious are the ones who buy on contract. In that regard, iPhones are dirt cheap already.

I only buy unlocked. I like to be in control of the type of service I get.

"This should brighten everyone's day."

= Referring to the dual flash.

This has to be the most weakest effort to read into something that probably doesn't mean anything, I've ever seen. It's verging on all the Half Life 3 Confirmed jokes the internet appears to be littered with.

What if, due to Valve's promotion of OS X as a day one platform, HL3 is going to be confirmed at the event?

(No, I don't think this is going to happen but I hope it snowballs. :D)

I was just kidding. Everyone says that dual flash is the greatest new feature.

What does it do? Most times I don't even use flash when I take a picture.

You seem to like to lump everyone into one bucket. What about the frugal and price conscious who use prepaid because it's 50% the cost of postpaid? Being able to save a couple hundred bucks on a new phone would certainly be very appealing.

You have to lead off with the iPhone 5C. You don't want to follow the 5S and have to explain all the features that the 5C does NOT have. :)

Basically, you would want to compare the 5C to the iPhone 5, not the 5S.

iPhone 5S will be announced first of the two - here's why and how I see it going:

-Apple Store updates
-Stats on apps, devs blah blah blah
-iOS 7 re-announcement (including a few new feature highlights)
-iPhone 5S announced (iOS 7 will be demoed on an iPhone 5S)
-iPhone 5C as the "One more thing" - similar to how they did the iPad 4, then the iPad mini.

They won't announce the phones BEFORE the OS and after announcing iOS 7, they'll want to do demos.....and of course, they'll demo on the 5S.

I think Macs and iPads are an October keynote.

I don't think the 5C will be hyped up as much as it has on this rumor site. Not at all.

The 5S and iOS 7 is the new iPhone. 5C is a replacement for entry level iPhone, bumping 4S out of the picture. iPhone 5 will be the middle man.
