I just installed the GM Lion update but it's saying my xcode is too old version. I have 4.0.2. I'm confused, do I need to download 4.2 beta 2 or the 4.1 preview? And is there any way I can still submit apps using either of these to the app store?

Is there any estimate on when this will be ready, and why won't other versions run? This will be a deal-breaker on Lion for me if I can't use XCode right away, so I'll have to wait. You need Xcode 4.2 DP 2 (Lion version)

I was thinking of waiting anyway, but it seems silly that XCode 4, which wasn't released that long ago, won't run for some silly reason?
You must install Xcode 4.1 Developer Preview 7 after updating your system to Mac OS X Lion GM Seed.
You must continue to use Xcode 3.2 or Xcode 4 on a Snow Leopard partition if you plan to submit Mac or iOS apps to the App Store.
now that Lion is out, can you use Xcode 4.2 DP 3 to submit apps?
