Just wanting opinions. Which storage configuration do you think will sell out faster? 64gb, 256, or 512? I really don't care which one I get so I want to go with the one I think will have the most stock.

I’m thinking that the 256 gold will sell out fastest. The colour that Apple use in their marketing sells faster, and most wil want the 256. The 512 will be slowest but then they may have lower inventory for those so who knows

None of the XS are going to sell out very quickly this year.
Agreed.

Demand will be highest for the Max model tomorrow and the Xr in October as they’re all new and there’s significant pent up demand for both. The XS, like the 8 and 8 Plus last year, are just refreshes. Much lower number of people holding out for them so there won’t be an initial surge. There shouldn’t be any significant shortage but if any models slip it will be the gold.

for the X launch, 64GB sold out faster. Some areas maybe the opposite, but inventory tracker showed on balance ppl bought the 64GB most. Or at least apple didn't make enough 64GB for demand. Uncertain.

In my experience the most expensive sells out last. The space gray smaller will sell first in my opinion followed by the gold.

Based off of pure assumption I feel like Apple committed to buying a masssive amount of 64gb ssd’s years ago and are trying to find ways to use them.

Doubt many will fork out money to buy the 512gb model. Unless money is not an issue at all.
apple gets a lot of photographers and videographers who buy this model. It's relatively cheap to go from 256 to 512 and they leverage the on device storage while out in the field. High def 4K video takes up a LOT of storage. I know a company in san fran that bought the largest X in the dozens.

With my PM hat on I’d love to propose a new product Apple could possibly look into considering they’re discontinuing the SE(4K camera) line.

They could use that fancy disassembler machine they’ve created and dismantle old iPhones and create an “action” cam for vloggers but with Apple tech inside built to utilize the Apple ecosystem and possibly some incentive to provide content to their rumored video content platform.

A blocker for Apple is that they’d have to implement replaceable batteries into a product lol.
