I was using jasmine for a while but after the last update the video quality doesn't look that good

So today I downloaded mctube , it's a little better than jasmine since it gives you more options , plus the HD videos look great

Also mctube let's you download videos & watch them offline

Does mctube stream in 1080p ?

In settings it only says HD for video quality

McTube is the best in my opinion. I love the resume because I will watch a video and have to do something else. I can return days later and the video resumes from where it left off.

Yes but that is my biggest problem with McTube. It's HD is only 1080p. Meaning I can't choose to watch 720p. The 1080p videos take forever to download from youtube and there is generally no need for 1080p on my iphone or mini.

Jasmine lets you choose between 720 and 1080 but it still has no way to sort search results.

So sometimes I have to search videos in McTube and then watch them in Jasmine. How ****ing stupid is that? Just because nobody can make a decent YouTube app.

Just started using Jasmine and I love it. Sure it's missing some features but the UI is very nice, and since I don't have super fast Internet, standard quality videos is fine by me. Tried mctube but that app is an eyesore to look at.

On Jasmine does it do HD? Weird issue last nite, I did a search for "1080P" and it gave me a list of clips in HD. I played couple of them and all of them were in 480P. My internet is fast enough (30Mbps)

You have to go into setting and choose a resolution.

Mctube has a nice update today

AirPlay in the background
Audio in the background
Your able to select which stream you want 1080p,360p, 720p
You can download videos in any quality available 1080p or whatever

This is my go to youtube app now

Using ProTube. Nice to be able to download videos as audio or video, tag them, and import them into the music/video library.
(jailbreak only)

Not a huge youtuber (to much garbage to sort through) but when I do use it its all about Mctube.

swift app is amazing because not only can you download videos from any website, but you can also play them from 25%-200% speed. It does need a few updates though but it is the best i have found. Let me know what you guys think
