When i am browsing the web in chrome browser there are sometimes when i click on the x to close tabs but they do not close. I have been using a mousr but when i use the trackpad it is the same. Can someone explain to me why that happens randomly?

Do you have the same problem if you use Command-W to close a tab? (or whatever the Chrome keyboard equivalent is, if different.) Have you tried resetting the browser, clearing your cache and cookies? Have you tried restarting your computer? Does it only happen on certain sites?
Happens to all sites. No i havent tried clearing the cache, i will try that when i get home. thank you for the help
