Not seeing a white option for the new 12.9 on Apple’s order page. Only silver and grey options. Can anyone post a link?

Ah. I see. White keyboard. Silver or grey machine. Disappointed. And not interested in a keyboard for the iPad. Never have, never will. It has a touch screen. Doh!

OK. So the Smart Cover is no more. Not the folio. I like my iPads back-naked. Just the flip back front cover Apple used to make. Anyone know of a similar alternative, preferably in white, for the M1 2021 12.9?

Why not to increase productivity on iOS when needed? Unlike Mac, iPad can go both ways.

Sure if you already have Macbook it doesn't make much sense, but with iPad as your primary mobile device, you can start writing on it and always switch to desktop Mac/PC for final touches and more extensive formatting.

I miss the days of the iPad + Smart Cover. Quickly flip it behind, or remove it altogether. Especially when there were multiple fun colour options.

I think though since this 2018 Pro design, there haven’t been any covers, but folios as they rely on rear magnets to stay secured, which is unfortunate.
 
Smart Cover is available. I ordered several weeks ago already have it to put 12.9 iPad Pro in for travel use. Magic Keyboard for at home desk and lap use.
 
White on devices never goes particularly well, it stains far too easily. They probably view the keyboard as a consumable after a year or two, the device not so much.

There is no white iPad Pro. Only Space Grey and Silver. The magic keyboard comes in white colour

There was a Smart Cover for the 12.9 iPad Pro but only for the 1st and 2nd generation (old body style with home button). If HEK bought that one for a new iPad Pro I hope it isn't too late to return it.

Yes that’s the name smart folio. Covers from and back of iPad not sides. Magnetically held on. No keyboard. Just some light protection. Had one of those on every iPad aver owned.
